Muffin celebrated turning 69 this week with a walk on Dartmoor in Devon! He is greatly looking forward to the next 12 months where he is keen to experience more adventures, meet new people and hopefully hear his song again!

It was Sunday 20th October 1946 that Muffin first stepped on to Annette Mills’ piano. It was a fantastic occasion on ‘live’ television for a programme called ‘For the Children’ which was broadcast by the BBC from Alexandra Palace. It was a short 12 minute performance that started at 5pm, and following his immediate success, continued every other week for over 8 years!
